The Director of Nursing is responsible for all clinical nursing services in the Diabetes Specialist medical center and the Ambulatory Surgery center. He she will direct the clinical operations and be responsible for strategic plans, objectives, and standards supporting clinical operations, ambulatory surgical nursing, sterile processing as well as for step-down unit, recovery and hemodialysis. He/she will coordinate the work of the designated employees, manage personal activities to meet departmental, company and system objectives related to the provision of patient care within the designated clinical areas, and create a smooth, efficient and satisfying experience for patients, employees, and physicians associated with each service line. The Director must understand all aspects of developing ambulatory surgery centers, including planning, hiring, leading and offering new and exciting opportunities and technology in medical and surgical care. It is essential to understand customs in the country.

  Responsibilities

  • Bachelor’s Degree (Required) in nursing from accredited university
  • Master’s Degree (Preferred)
  • 7 years previous work experience as a clinical nurse including OR or PACU experience (Required)
  • 5 years managerial experience in an multiple specialties ambulatory surgery center(Required)
  • Current nursing registration in country of origin
  • Cardio-Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) (Required)
  • Previous international experience is a plus.
